Manchester’s leading property lawyers Abacus Solicitors have today successfully completed the lease of 14 Speke Hall Industrial Estate, Speke on behalf of Briggs Automotive Company (BAC), manufacturers of the BAC Mono Supercar, from Langtree Commercial Property PLC.

Production of the sports supercar Mono, which has been praised by the BBC’s Top Gear, will now take place at the newly acquired Liverpool site creating around 60 jobs and expanding its manufacturing capacity to more than 100 cars per year by 2015.

The Abacus Commercial Property Team assisted BAC with negotiations in their move from existing premises in Holmes Chapel.

Managing Director at BAC Neill Briggs praised commercial property specialists Keith Mather and Leon Young for their patience, guidance & expertise with the commercial lease.

The world’s first road-legal, single-seater production car, holds the second-fastest time on the Top Gear test track, setting a time of one minute, 14.3 seconds–just half a second slower than the fastest car on the track, the Pagani Huayra.
