Laura joined Abacus permanently in 2014 having originally been at the firm on secondment during the completion of her training contract at a specialist criminal firm.  Laura graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2008 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) and completed her LPC there in 2010.

She worked for 5 years in criminal practice dealing with a wide variety of clients preparing their cases and attending Court and the Police Station as an accredited representative. Having gained experience in the Property department during her secondment at Abacus she decided to pursue a career in property rather than a life of crime and was offered a role as a solicitor in our residential property team.  Laura has since developed strong experience in residential property transactions and is an integral part of our fast paced residential conveyancing team.

Outside of work Laura enjoys socialising with friends and her partner, going to the gym and has recently taken an interest in cycling and walking the dog.
